DARBAR South Asian Music Festival


Darbar origins go back to 1987 with the creation of Taal - Rhythms of India, the first organisation that promoted tabla in the world. It organised pre-concert discussions, workshops, master classes and concerts.



GDS Promotions


This web site has been created out of a desire to share with you my love of Indian Classical Music. The following pages will tell you who I am and give you an introduction to the intricacies of the structure of Indian Classical Music and allow you to meet artists that I have promoted, and visit other great artists of the Indian Classical Music world - Gilda Sebastian



GemArts


GemArts is a dynamic arts development organisation based in the North East of England which profiles and programmes new and exciting culturally diverse arts, by creating and developing high quality concerts and community events with regional, national and international artists.



Kala Sangam


Kala Sangam is a South Asian Arts company. Kala is Art and Sangam a meeting point. Kala Sangam has a mission of bringing people together through South Asian Arts and inter-disciplinary arts. This is done through the promotion and deliver of the many art forms from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh using music, dance, poetry/literature and creative writing, and visual arts and crafts from folk, classical and contemporary styles.



Asian Music Circuit


Since 1991, the AMC has developed as the leading promoter of Asian music in the UK. It has established a privileged reputation for the variety and high calibre of its concerts , the high quality and innovative nature of its education programme, its fascinating collection of audio-visual recordings.



Milapfest


Milap Festival Trust became a Registered Charity in 1991. Milapfest, the South Asian Festival grew from a weekend programme into the Premier South Asian Arts Festival that it is today over the subsequent 18 years. Today, it promotes all South Asian Art forms as well as collaborative events all year around in Manchester, Liverpool and other cities of England. As well as supporting and creating new artistic collaborations, it also commissions and tours selected events.



Shruti Arts


Established and based in Leicester, England, since 1983, Shruti Arts is one of the pioneering and leading promoters of South Asian Music and Performing Arts in the UK. It aims to foster, nurture and encourage these Arts so that they can be understood and enjoyed by all races and cultures that makes a multicultural Leicestershire such an exciting and vibrant place in England to live in.
